15 апреля 2005 г. в рамках конференции «Клиническая трансплантация органов», посвященной 40-летию со дня первой трансплантации почки в СССР, которая была выполнена выдающимся советским хирургом Б.В. Петровским, состоялся симпозиум, организованный компанией «Новартис Фарма», «Новое в терапии микофенолатами. майфортик - шаг вперед», на котором был представлен новый зарегистрированный в России препарат - кишечнорастворимая форма микофеноловой кислоты - майфортик.
