Входными воротами стафилококковой бактериемии в большинстве случаев являются катетер постоянного сосудистого доступа или катетеры центральных вен. Гематогенные осложнения стафилококковой бактериемии включают эндокардит, перикардит, пневмонию и эмпиему [<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="cit3">3</xref>]. В данной статье описаны два случая, в которых бактериемия метициллин-резистентным штаммом S. aureus (MRSA) осложнилась возникновением метастатических очагов инфекции в костной и нервной тканях.
