Оно привело к улучшению качества жизни больных и, по-видимому, способствовало наблюдаемому в течение последнего десятилетия повышению их выживаемости, хотя это и вызывает некоторые сомнения. Наконец, клиническое использование Эпо открыло для нефрологического сообщества много нового относительно анемии при почечной недостаточности (ПН), значения в ее механизме воспаления и дефицита железа. * Перевод Н.А.
